Where to find a Midwife in Cologne?

Hebammen-Netzwerk Köln e.V. - this brilliant service allows you to call up and leave your details - what kind of support you are looking for, when you are due, where you live - and they will contact their network of midwives. Hopefully within a few days you will recieve a reply and are able to find a midwife that matches your wishes.

Hebammenvermittlung Köln und Umgebung - this a facebook group where you can post your request - what kind of support you need, where you live, what is your due date - and midwives are able to contact you directly via Facebook. If you are unable to find a midwife for your postpartum period, the group has a list of ‘Wochenbett-Ambulanzen’ if you are unable to find a midwife for your postpartum period.

Ammely - This is an online platform in English & German that shows you which midwife is available for you. You can also specify which languages your midwife should be able to speak.

Ask your Frauenartzt and local Hospital for a list of local midwives. Even if you are close to your due date, it is worth calling round and asking, sometimes people have cancellations etc so there may be last minute availability.
